IS INDIA IMPLEMENTING ISRAEL’S IRON FIST POLICY IN KASHMIR.CAN STAUNCH ZIONISM COUNTER WAHABISM

BOTH PALESTINE AND KASHMIR ARE VICTIMS OF RELIGIOUS RADICALISATION. TO A LARGER EXTENT THERE ARE WIDE RANGE OF SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE CONFLICTS

CONGRUENCE

A strategic Pakistan thinker made a very interesting observation that the present Indian regime is following Israel doctrine to solve Kashmir issue.According to him India is trying to isolate Kashmir in every way possible and change the demographics of the region to suppress separatism.Initiation of this process was done on 5th August when India stripped Kashmir of its special status. However what really is the Israel doctrine and will it bear any fruits in the most dangerous place on earth. To understand this it is imperative to understand the conflict.

ISRAEL AND PALESTINE.ORIGINS OF THE CONFLICT

CHRONOLOGY

Jews are the most persecuted community in history.Middle east as we know today was ruled by Ottoman empire in early 1900’s .After world war 1 Jews realized that Judaism was not just a religion but a nationality .Hence Zionism as an ideology was established which demanded a separate homeland for Jews .Soon Jews started immigrating in middle east however this led to a wave of rage among the native Arabs. The British regulated immigration in Palestine however after the Holocaust there was a major influx of Jews in Palestine which caused violent confrontations between Jews and Arabs. In 1947 UN came with a resolution of dividing Palestine into two states of Arab control and Jewish control(Israel). The Idea was completely rejected by neighboring countries which themselves were newly Independent. So in 1947 they attacked Israel for unification of Palestine. The new state of Israel won the war and expanded its boundaries violating the UN resolution. Then again in 1967 the neighboring countries attacked Israel and again Israel came out as a comprehensive winner. But this time Israel took control of Golan heights in Syria and Gaza strip. The Palestinian area was shrunk to almost nothing with both West Bank and Gaza strip under Israel’s occupation. This lead to creation of extremist outfits like Hamas and PLO.These organisations were externally supported and carried out fidayeen attacks against Israeli’s with a notable mention being 1972 Munich Olympics massacre.Responding to these threats Israeli intelligence organisation Mossad infiltrated Hamas and PLO networks across the world and eliminated all individuals linked to the attacks.Israel carried out preemptive airstrikes on Iranian Nuclear sites. Two intifada’s were carried out in Palestine which resulted in high casualties on Palestinian side.In 2005 Israel left GAZA and the control was passed to Hamas.Strategically Israel has built walls across the site to regulate and prohibit any movement. And at the same time more Israeli settlers are moving in west bank due to cheap housing .Hence due to extensive control of Palestinians the conflict still rages on without any conclusion in site.

LINKS IN KASHMIR.

ISRAEL IN KASHMIR

MOSSAD HAS BEEN ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN KASHMIR IN SUPPORTING RAW FOR CLANDESTINE OP.

India initially didn’t accept Israel as an independent sovereign nation however steadily India started establishing diplomatic relations .When RAW was established RN Kao established deep covert links between Tel Aviv and New Delhi.Israel had offered help to India in OP Kahuta and was even ready to target Pakistani Nuclear facilities through missiles. In 1990’s when ISI initiated infiltration and militancy in Kashmir many Israeli intelligence officials roamed through the streets of Kashmir as tourists .Intelligence and clandestine operations were carried out by both the organisations and specific inputs were given to the Army to target militancy. Israel has been pretty active in providing intelligence inputs regarding Hawala transmission lines from middle east.At the same time Israel has helped India during 26/11 and Uri attacks. The policy of cross border tactical strikes which India has developed can also be credited to Israel.

BRAINCHILD

POLICY POSTURING

In 2014 when NDA-1 came into power the initial approach was to engage Pakistan in a comprehensive dialogue .PM Modi visited Lahore as a peaceful gesture symbolizing India’s desire for peace .A comprehensive joint statement was released by Pakistani and Indian foreign minister.A Hotline was established and NSA level negotiations were also initiated .However the Deadlock was broken in 2016.The year was an extremely turbulent year for Kashmir. Since the start of the year there were large number of targeted attacks and ambushes on the security forces .Then on 8th July 2016 Burhan wani was eliminated by security forces .After the incident things went out of hand. There was a massive upsurge in infiltration as well as stone pelting related incidents .Massive civilian and military causalities happened as a result of the extensive polarization. All of this culminated into the Uri attacks in which 19 soldiers were martyred. The attack was a tipping point and the security apparatus came to the realization that there is no point engaging with Pakistan and it is imperative to retaliate to make it costly for Terrorist organisations. Then on 29th September Indian Special Forces carried out surgical strikes in POK . The NSA Ajit Doval realized that the first priority is to tackle threats on hinterland. So NSA devised the policy of aggressive cordon and search by the security forces this yielded massive results as 222 militants were killed in 2018 ,217 were killed in 2017 and the casualities of security forces dropped to significant level .OP ALL OUT led to elimination of all the A++ Cadre millitants and broke the backbone of terrorist organisations.Simultaneously NIA was directed to conduct massive crackdowns in Kashmir against Hurriyat and political leaders involved in terror funding this further demotivated terrorist organisations. India employed aggressive Dovalian doctrine as well as the policy of Defensive offence which to a lage extent is derived from Israeli Iron Fist policy. The Balakot airstrikes were another example of change in strategic policy .

THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

The NDA -2 took an historic decision of abrogating Article 370 which specifically meant withdrawing special status which was granted by Union Of India post Independence yet was transient in nature. What it meant was the fact that special provisions which included non validity of Indian constitution, prohibition of buying properties to any outsider in Kashmir etc.In addition to this new domicile laws have been introduced in the region which identifies citizens of state who have been living in Kashmir for more than 15 years and thus reservations of jobs are valid through the same criteria. The government in addition to this are also devising plans to rehabilitate Kashmiri Pandits. Industrialization is one of the key priorities of the government.

NUANCE IN THE ARGUMENT

India is following an hard line Zionist policy to tackle Wahabism in Kashmir. The primary focus is to eliminate militancy in Kashmir and to ensure peace and security in the valley. However India is not an occupying force in the valley. Kashmir willfully acceded to India in 1947 since then the primary focus has to resolve the issue through political dialogue.India has provided political space to organisations like Hurriyat, The concept of resettlement of Pandits could lead to demographic change is an illusion rather it is there right to live peacefully again in there native places.Poitical dialogue has been once again initiated with the formation of 3rd front in Kashmir. The concept of de- radicalization camps is to tackle the problem of massive radicalization which has happened in Kashmir. In all Zionism may be an answer to our problems in kashmir.

When peace comes we may be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our children, but we will not be able to forgive them for forcing us to kill their children”
